Pinot Noir Grand Cru Grape Marc

Grape seeds + Grape skin + Stems (the frame of a grape cluster) = Dry residue resulting from pressing or treading the grapes and fermentation = GRAPE MARC.

In winemaking, grape marc is the dry residue resulting from pressing = waste from the production of wine and grape juice.

Pressing consists of pressing the grapes to extract the must or grape juice.

Pressing yields two parts :

1. The liquid that is used in the making of wine.
2. The other, solid (the waste), which is grape marc.

Grape marc contains a wide variety of polyphenols (= antioxidants) to fight against the signs of aging. It is also known for its slimming and anti-cellulite action.
