The Biltmore Spa Experience
How long have you been working at the Biltmore, and what was your professional background?
I've been working at the Biltmore for 8 years. I started out as a part-time beautician, then quickly progressed. Six months later, I was promoted to leader, and two years later, after the Covid crisis, I had the opportunity to become manager. For the past 9 months, I've been in charge of the spa.
I began my professional career in aesthetics in France over 20 years ago, after studying hairdressing and then aesthetics in Aix-en-Provence (South of France). I've been living in the United States for 10 years now.
What do you think makes the SPA unique and successful among luxury destinations ?
The uniqueness of the hotel, with its architecture inspired by Spanish castles and built in 1926, is a major asset.
We are open to our local clientele, who accounts for 80% of our business. This enables us to get to know our regular customers, understand their needs and offer them personalized care. The close relationship we have contributes greatly to our success.
What do you think makes the spa experience at the biltmore the most enjoyable for your guests ?
Our customers come mainly to relax and take time for themselves. Since Covid, well-being has become a more important part of their daily lives. Our regular guests often come to maintain the benefits of our treatments, while visitors to the hotel enjoy a complete relaxation experience during their vacations.
We've found that awareness of the importance of wellness has grown, and our guests are now looking to incorporate these moments of relaxation into their regular routine.

Why did you decide to add Vinésime to the Biltmore Spa range ?
Our spa has a European feel, and as a French woman, I have a particular affinity with everything to do with vines. Vinésime products, with their natural benefits and luxurious feel, fit perfectly with our vision of a high-end spa. The vine, symbolizing both relaxation and maturity, resonates well with our clientele.
What is your customers' main feedback on Vinésime products and treatments ?
The products’ fragrance is what comes up most often in customer feedback. For example, the perfumes sell very well, which proves that customers enjoy wearing them. The products are easy to use and pleasant to wear.
After each experience, customers associate the products with relaxation and feel more in touch with themselves. The products are balanced in terms of texture and fragrance, and are suitable for the whole family.
How would you describe Vinésime in a few words, and how does it fit in with the other brands you use ?
We started using Vinésime at the beginning of January, so it's been 6 months now. What makes Vinésime so special is its unique scent, which is much appreciated by our customers. The products are pure, effective and stand out for their scent. Vinésime offers unmatched quality and sensory experience.
What is your favourite Vinésime treatment and why ?
We've customized a treatment that includes a chardonnay or pinot noir experience. It begins with a body scrub, followed by a 30-minute bath with a glass of wine and a cheese platter, and ends with a 50-minute massage with sensual oil and a nutricosmetic cocktail. This treatment offers a complete and luxurious experience, ideal for couples and newlyweds who want to start their trip in a relaxing and intimate way.
What is your favourite Vinésime face product and why ?
My favorite product is the Sublime Éclat face mask. Its gel texture is silky, and it leaves my skin rehydrated, luminous and ultra-soft. It's always a pleasure to use, and my colleagues share this unanimous opinion.
What is your favourite Vinésime body care product and why ?
I love the Pinot Noir Scrub for its fresh, non-irritating effect. But my favorite product is the Sensuelle Volupté oil, which I'd recommend to anyone. It's versatile and can be used for hair, face and body. It offers many benefits and its olfactory aspect is a real plus.
